Summit 36

San Diego State University sought a dedicated solution to support both football filming and coaching observation during daily practices. Recognizing the value of reviewing plays from multiple angles, the program selected a system of three permanent Summit 36 football towers, each designed to provide clear, elevated perspectives across the practice fields.

The installation includes one sideline tower and two end zone towers, all standing 36 feet tall. This configuration allows coaches and video staff to observe plays as they develop, evaluate execution in real time, and capture consistent film for detailed breakdown. One of the end zone towers is strategically positioned to provide visibility of two practice fields, further increasing flexibility and maximizing coverage during overlapping sessions.

Each Summit 36 tower is designed for reliable, day-to-day use, offering a stable and elevated vantage point that improves both coaching efficiency and film quality. By distributing towers around the fields, San Diego State’s staff gains multiple sightlines without congestion, making it easier to analyze formations, spacing, and timing from every critical angle.

This three-tower layout demonstrates how a thoughtfully planned combination of sideline and end zone football towers can enhance practice operations, support film review, and help ensure plays are executed with precision. San Diego State’s Summit 36 installation stands as a strong example of how purpose-built football towers can elevate preparation and performance at the collegiate level.
