Wake Forest University equipped its football practice facility with three permanent observation towers, creating multiple elevated vantage points around the field to support coaching, evaluation, and player development. Each tower stands 28 feet tall and is strategically positioned to surround the practice field, allowing coaches to watch plays unfold from multiple angles simultaneously.
Every tower features a balcony and a full roof, providing protected space for coaches, personnel, and equipment throughout daily practices. This configuration makes it easier to evaluate execution, spacing, and timing, while also supporting filming and reviewing tape to ensure each play is performed exactly as designed.
The three-tower layout gives Wake Forest’s staff the flexibility to shift perspectives without congestion, offering a more complete understanding of how plays develop across the field. By combining elevation with multiple sightlines, coaches gain clearer insights that directly translate to improved preparation and sharper game-day performance.
Finished in one of our favorite custom color themes, these towers feature a dark black mainframe with a gold accent roof, creating a striking visual contrast that complements Wake Forest’s branding. The result is a facility that looks as strong as it performs—functional, distinctive, and purpose-built for a high-level football program.
