Some programs need a tower that doesn’t align perfectly with a standard models — whether because of field layout, filming requirements, height needs, capacity, or architectural preferences. Our Custom Tower Configurations allow you to create a structure that is engineered specifically for your program, combining any of our core design elements in the precise arrangement you need.
Choose one of our staircase mainframes, set your viewing levels exactly where you want them, and select from integrated balconies, external balconies, oversized platforms, or wraparound balcony designs. Roofing options include fully enclosed hip-style roofs, extended balcony roofs, or roofless configurations for reduced cost and height. You can also choose to upgrade from 3.5-inch to 6-inch corner posts depending on your stability needs — with the larger posts offering exceptional rigidity for camera capture or high-wind regions.
Custom towers can be built at nearly any height, and can include additional features such as double-sided balconies, extra-wide platforms, or specialized configurations for band directors, athletic coaches, or media crews. Everything is engineered to your specific seismic and wind-load requirements to ensure safety, compliance, and long-term field durability.
As with all ESP towers, your custom configuration includes concealed conduit pathways for clean wiring, a locking base-level door for secure entry and outdoor equipment storage, and the highest-quality finishes available — including our premium two-part zinc and urethane mainframe coating in any Rust-Oleum®, Pantone®, or Sherwin-Williams™ color.

To ensure safety, longevity, and compliance across all regions, every ESP tower is engineered for your site’s specific seismic and wind-load requirements. Each unit is delivered with a complete sealed submittal package including stamped engineering drawings for permitting and approval.
Your tower’s mainframe is protected with our advanced two-part zinc and urethane coating system, which delivers unmatched durability and performance.

The zinc-rich primer forms a protective barrier against corrosion, bonding directly to the steel for maximum adhesion and rust resistance.

All grating, platforms, stair treads, balcony components, and secondary steel elements are hot-dip galvanized to ensure complete 360° corrosion protection. This process seals every edge, weld, and surface, providing exceptional long-term performance in all climates.
