The FWS16R is a compact and highly reliable two-level staircase tower designed for programs that want safe stairway access and elevated visibility in a smaller footprint. This tower includes viewing platforms at 8’ and 16’, each accommodating two people, with a reverse-side landing positioned 4 feet below that supports an additional two personnel. The FWS16R provides an efficient elevated vantage point for band directors, coaches, and media staff. Built with 3.5-inch corner posts, it delivers excellent durability and field-side stability.
What distinguishes the FWS16R from the standard FWS16S is the addition of a fully enclosed hip-style roof, bringing the total structure height to 25.5 feet. The roof is hand-built, sealed, and painted to prevent deterioration and features a design with no exposed rafters or open gaps, eliminating areas where birds or wasps can nest. It also includes integrated lightning protection and a gutter-channel system for controlled water runoff, extending longevity and enhancing safety.
Like all FWS models, the FWS16R includes concealed conduit pathways, keeping wiring for lights, cameras, or audio cleanly hidden within the structure. A secure locking base door provides controlled access while allowing safe outdoor storage of equipment that can remain outside year-round.
