The FWS28X2 is a two-level staircase tower built for programs that want the strength and customization flexibility of our external-balcony series with a slightly lower overall height than the FWS32X2. Featuring 6-inch heavy-duty corner posts, this tower delivers exceptional rigidity — making it a strong choice for directors, coaches, and media teams who rely on stable, vibration-free viewing and filming.
This model includes two large external balconies positioned at 16’ and 28’, each supporting up to four people. Because the balconies are external rather than integrated, the FWS28X2 offers extensive design flexibility, allowing programs to customize:
• Oversized balcony dimensions
• Front, back, or double-sided balcony layouts
• Wraparound or multi-side balcony configurations
• Balcony placement tailored to preferred heights

Standing at 37.5 feet with its fully enclosed hip-style roof, the tower arrives wrapped, sealed, and professionally finished. The roof is designed with no exposed rafters or nesting points, preventing birds and wasps from making the tower their home. Integrated lightning protection and a gutter-style channel system improve safety and water management.
Like all FWS models, the FWS28X2 includes concealed conduit pathways to protect wiring for lights, cameras, or audio equipment while preserving the tower’s clean aesthetic from top to bottom. A secure locking field-side base door prevents unauthorized entry and allows for safe outdoor storage of equipment.
